met sam in chelsea to pick up some photos and to do a bit of christmas shopping. a shop on 18th street displayed a usual collection of solid titles, but one stood out - and we went in for a look. the book, an uncharacteristically thick, even coffee table-like, situationist piece was what i'd hoped, and in great shape too. it rarely shows up in stores in the states and i have never had one to offer myself. if the owner can hold it until the new year, i'll take it home.

I haven't seen one ever listed in an American bookseller's catalogue, but did find it in a recent catalogue of Dennis Ozanne, and in a catalogue of situationist material issued by the always very interesting booksellers from Nice, Librarie La Palourde.
